Reloading a speargun is a full-round action. The speared creature can pull the shaft from its wound if it takes a full-round action, but in so doing it deals 2d6 points of damage to itself. If the speared creature attempts to cast a spell, it must succeed at a Concentration check (DC 15) or the spell fails. If you control the trailing rope by succeeding at an opposed Strength check while holding it, the harpooned creature can only move within the limits that the rope allows (the trailing rope is 30 feet long). The creature moves at only half speed and cannot charge or run while a spear is lodged in its body. If you deal damage to your opponent, the shaft may lodge in the victim if the victim fails a Reflex saving throw against a DC equal to 10 + the damage dealt. This line is attached to a reel, allowing the shooter to draw the shaft back. Most speargun shafts are tied to a thin, strong line (DC 20 Strength check to break). Speargun (Piercing Damage 2d6, Critical 20 x2, Range increment 10 ft.)Ī speargun uses a powerful set of bands to propel a stainless steel shaft at the target. /r/3d6 - For character creation, advice and sharing (system agnostic)./r/Battlemaps - For your VTT battlemap requirements./r/Tabletop - For your general tabletop gaming shenanigans./r/lfg - Looking For Group, find other players, etc./r/RPG - For general, non-Pathfinder related RPG discussion./r/Starfinder_rpg - For dedicated discussion of Paizo's Science Fantasy system and setting./r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker - To discuss the Owlcat-made computer RPGs./r/Pathfinder2e - For dedicated Second Edition discussion./r/Pathfinder - For Pathfinder Society Organization/Discussion.Other subreddits you might be interested in: Fillable character sheets and intelligent character builders. Some of these tools and resources include the following: We have a Wiki page that includes links for various useful tools and resources, most of which have been provided by the members of this community.
